Virginie Lavallée is a seasoned producer who had the privilege of producing content for Netflix, Apple, HBO, and Disney. She even checked a personal dream off her bucket list: working on Game of Thrones. Along the way, she delivered over 40,000+ shots, managed tens of millions in budgets, and learned that people-first production isn’t just possible—it’s the future.

That’s why she co-founded The Happy Producers, a training initiative for animation, VFX, and gaming professionals who want more efficient and profitable productions—without stress and overtime. Because great work shouldn’t come at the cost of well-being.

Lately, she has been diving deep into AI, believing that human + AI collaboration will be the next big shift in production. She is excited to explore how we can work smarter, not harder.

I'm Virginie.

I am an award-winning Film and TV Producer with 17 years of experience in live-action and CG animation. I have worked on some of the world's most exciting properties like Game of Thrones and Pirates of the Caribbean with clients like Disney, Netflix, HBO, Ubisoft and many more.


Over the past 5 years alone, I have delivered over 25,000 animated shots under budget to happy clients while prioritizing the team’s wellbeing. That's a lot! 


But it wasn't always that way. I used to work 55 hours a week, be in a constant state of overwhelm, and miss out on family events until I decided my team and I deserved better.


I developed a tried-and-tested scheduling methodology to help my peers in the animation industry eliminate overtime and reclaim work-life balance and I'm on a mission to teach you to do the same!
